Inspiration and Lineage

The Order of The Supramundane Way draws it's main teaching guidance and inspiration from
the Buddha’s words as written in the Surangama Sutra,
translated by Charles Luk.
The Order uses many Sutras and Suttas to teach the Buddha's understanding of the Way.

The Order does not adhere to any specific Buddhist or Zen tradition,
rather the practice is focused on
kindness, wisdom, Dharma skillfulness, and Supreme Bodhi in everything we do and think.
This is a Founding Buddhist Order,
we are not associated with any other Buddhist Order.

While The Order’s main purpose is outlined in the Mission Statement listed herein this website,
the Order is also committed to preserving and making the Dharma accessible to everyone.
