| Chant Master | Leads and preserves the liturgical and ceremonial chanting within the Zendo. Leads chants during daily services, retreats (sesshin), and ceremonies. Trains sangha members in proper chanting tone, pronunciation, and timing. Maintains chant books, instruments (e.g., mokugyo, bell), and altar setup. Coordinates with the Head Teacher to ensure seamless integration of chanting into the practice schedule. Must meet requirements and goals for Sangha Member. Must be accepted by a senior teacher as a student. |
